You have the option to install Samsung Internet Beta alongside the stable version of Samsung Internet.
Samsung Internet offers a superior web browsing experience, incorporating helpful features such as Video Assistant, Dark Mode, Customize menu, and Extensions like Translator. It also prioritizes privacy protection with features like Secret mode, Smart Anti-Tracking, and Smart Protection.
Here are some new features available:
- Increased number of days for saving browsing History: Previously limited to 60 days, now extended to 90 days.
- URL auto-complete support in the address bar: The browser will automatically fill in URLs based on your browsing history when entering them in the address bar.
Security and privacy are paramount in Samsung Internet. The browser offers:
- Smart Anti-Tracking: This feature intelligently detects domains with cross-site tracking abilities and blocks their storage access (cookies).
- Protected Browsing: You will receive warnings before accessing known malicious websites, protecting you from potential data theft.
- Content Blockers: Third-party apps can provide content filters for enhanced browsing safety and efficiency.
Please note that Samsung Internet may conduct A/B testing on versions 21.0 or later. This testing helps gather data on feature usage rates but does not collect personal information from users.
